I knew I had bitten off more than I could chew the moment I watched a tutorial on the basics of FCP. You could edit a Hollywood movie on this software I thought, which is great news, but not if like me you don’t know what you are doing.

After trying to run a good hour of mixed 4K GoPro footage through a strained Apple iMac I finally watched something that resembled the story I could see in my head.

I haven’t watched the finished version. I can’t because the music and frames are still stuck in my head 24-7 from the constant back and forth.
